This is part 2 of a 2 part podcast, make sure to check out Part 1 for the whole story! In this section, we’ll be talking more about James’s experience in the Navy.

Today we’re talking to the Founder of Life Skills Academy in Henderson Nevada, James Lomax. Based on the principles of the Montessori method of educating, the Acton Academy network is modern solution to child education in our rapidly evolving society. Scott has his own son enrolled in the program, so we thought it might be fun to learn all about it one on one!

James has a BS from the US Naval Academy and an MBA from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He was a Weapon Systems Officer in the FA-18F Super Hornet…put simply, he flew fast jets for the Navy (like the movie Top Gun). Part one of our podcast will have us talking about the Acton Academy and how it may provide the best education for children today, and part two we will focus in more on James’ Navy experience. This is a wild ride, so I hope you all enjoy!
