Joining us today are Las Vegas based realtor team Michael and Eric Gorton. While this is a real-estate based Podcast, we start at the beginning of their adventure in Las Vegas, including some conversation about working odd jobs and of course the inevitable casino conversations. Michael and Eric are some of the best Realtors in the Las Vegas area and we get one amazing insight to their tricks and tactics in the game.
In their own words: Eric Gorton’s journey began when he was born and raised in Long Island, New York, and attended Long Island University’s Southampton campus with a major in business marketing. After marrying his lovely wife Michele in 1995, they immediately relocated to the Las Vegas Valley and started a family. While working in the casino industry on the Las Vegas Strip as a dice dealer, Eric found his passion in real estate investing and sales. As a result, Eric founded The Gorton Group, which has subsequently been in the top 1% for sales production of all REALTORS® in the Metropolitan Las Vegas area. Being engaged in the Las Vegas Real Estate industry since 2001, working directly with some of the area and country’s top producers, Eric has the backing of expertise and knowledge that he continues to build upon.
Whether you are in the market to purchase or sell a home, Eric understands that it takes a professional who knows the real estate scene, and the drive to act quickly and efficiently regarding all aspects of the transaction from beginning to end. The son of Eric Gorton, Michael has no new relationship with the real estate business. In his early years, Michael idolized and leaned on his father as he grew up- somebody who established himself as one of the valley’s leading producers. Growing up, he devoted countless weekends and hours after school shadowing his father in the office.
Growing up in Las Vegas, Michael attended Bishop Gorman High School. While seeking a Business Management Degree at The University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Michael worked in some of the most notable hotels in Las Vegas for eight years in the service industry. Michael leaped at the opportunity to partner with his family in the real estate business, seeking to create the same level of hospitality service. Consequently, Michael has developed a reputation for providing clients with outstanding customer service by handling each transaction with knowledge, skill, and grace.
